Who we are

Accelerate Business Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") provides fractional bookkeeping, job costing, and financial reporting services to small businesses across the United States. This policy explains what information we collect through acceleratebizsolutions.com and our related client tools, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or audit-request form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and company name. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects scheduling details under its own privacy policy.
• Connected accounting data. If you become a client and authorize it, we access your QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's official QuickBooks Online API with your explicit OAuth consent. This includes financial report data such as profit & loss, balance sheet, accounts receivable/payable, and job costing information. We access this data solely to perform the bookkeeping and reporting services you hire us for. That relationship is also governed by your engagement agreement.
• Automatic information. Like most websites, we collect basic technical data — pages visited, time on page, device type, and approximate location — through analytics tools described below.

How we use your data

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule calls you request.
• To deliver bookkeeping, job costing, and advisory services to clients — including reading financial data from your connected QuickBooks Online company to prepare reports and analysis.
• To understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
• To measure advertising performance (for example, whether a visitor who clicked an ad later requested an audit).

We do not sell your personal information or your financial data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Use of AI to process financial data

For clients who opt in, we use a third-party generative AI service (Lovable AI Gateway, which routes to large-language-model providers) to help draft plain-language commentary and insights from financial report data pulled from your connected QuickBooks Online company — for example, summarizing a profit & loss trend in plain English.

• The AI service receives only the report data needed to generate the commentary. It is not given your QuickBooks credentials, and it cannot take actions in your accounting file.
• AI-generated commentary is reviewed by us before it is relied on, and it is informational only — it is not accounting, tax, or legal advice.
• We do not use your data to train AI models, and we instruct our AI providers accordingly where their terms allow.

How we protect your data

• Encryption in transit. All connections to our site, to QuickBooks Online, and to our AI provider use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• Access controls. Form submissions and client data are stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security. Access is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
• Official connections only. Client accounting data is accessed only through the accounting platforms' own secure, permissioned connections (such as QuickBooks Online accountant access or OAuth-authorized API access). We never ask for or store your QuickBooks password.

Disconnecting and deleting your data

You can revoke our access to your QuickBooks Online company at any time from your Intuit account settings (under connected apps) or by asking us to disconnect. Once disconnected, we can no longer pull new data from your accounting file.

You may also request deletion of your personal information — including contact details and stored financial report data — by emailing us at shannon@acceleratebizsolutions.com. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records by professional, tax, or legal record-keeping obligations.

Analytics and advertising tools

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and improve our advertising. These tools use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information about your visit. They do not receive your QuickBooks financial data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized ads through your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences or at optout.aboutads.info.

Data retention

We keep inquiry information as long as needed to respond and maintain a business relationship, and client records as required by professional and tax record-keeping standards. When a client relationship ends, we disconnect accounting access and retain only what record-keeping standards require.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. If you are a resident of a state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), we honor the rights those laws provide.

Third-party services

Our site and services link to or rely on third-party platforms including Intuit QuickBooks Online, Calendly, Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and our AI provider. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
